Winter Shipping Insurance:

We have extended our ability to ship during lower temperatures. Winter insurance can be added to each order during this period.
Winter insurance includes:
- one or more heat packs to each order,
- if necessary, a larger box to accommodate the heat pack(s) without burning the plant(s)
- the guarantee that if a plant arrives frozen, you will be refunded*
Note: Winter insurance costs are not dependent on the regular cost of shipping. E.g. If your order qualifies for free shipping, your total shipping cost with winter insurance will be $6.
*If your plant arrives frozen, please email us within 24 hours along with photos in order to be eligible for the refund.

*Timing represents the estimated number of days it would take to deliver your item AFTER it is shipped.
Note: In order to avoid your plants spending a weekend in a warehouse, shipments are sent out on Mondays, Tuesdays and/or Wednesdays (we may slip in a couple on Thursday mornings if able) depending on location.
Important: If temperatures are not suitable for shipping, we reserve the right to hold any plant shipments for warmer (or cooler) temperatures.
Remote locations: Remote locations in the above provinces may not be possible due to elevated shipping costs.
Local Deliveries:
Have your order delivered straight to your door! We deliver to the greater Montreal region.
When checking out, please select "Ship", then add in your address, then move to shipping for you to see the delivery option(s).

Important: The delivery window is between 9am-9pm. In order to keep costs low, we are unable to provide a narrower delivery window. Please ensure that someone is available to collect your order. In the winter, we do not leave plants outside if there is no response. Please ensure that your phone number is accurate, and your delivery instructions (if any) are clear.
FREE Pick-up: Saturdays, 1-4pm
Location: OUTSIDE of 2236 Bourbonnière (Hochelaga-Maisonneueve area)
We offer free pick up OUTSIDE OF 2236 Bourbonniere (Hochelaga-Maisonneueve area) on Saturdays, 1-4pm. If you are unable to make this time, please let us know and we will try to schedule another time that is more convenient for you.
Be sure to add contact@thepaintedleaf.com to your contacts or safe sender list so that you do not miss the confirmation email from us when your order is ready for pick-up. This email is usually sent on Fridays. If you do not hear from us by Saturday morning, please reach out to confirm.
